This course will explore the most common errors committed by tax preparers and how to avoid them. This course is intended to better prepare us to avoid errors & embarrassing situations by exploring the following course objectives.

Course Objectives - Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  •          Utilize Form 1040 as a checklist
  •          Identify and avoid the most common income omissions
  •          Identify and avoid the most common expense errors
  •          Understand specific errors that occur including: Car donations, wash sales, losses on inherited property & residences, mortgage issues, and overlooked credits
