Course Description
This course concentrates on how being ethical costs you time, money, and friends. It also discusses the use documents like “conflict of interest releases”, “disclosure statements under § 7216”, the new due diligence standards, Circular 230, and keeping you safe from IRS scrutiny. This course is informative and provides you with the necessary tools and knowledge to protect yourself and your practice.
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Utilize Forms 8275 and 8275-R for compliance and proper disclosure
- Identify and apply questions that must be addressed with clients to protect yourself
- Understand default responses that tax programs often answer for you
